Englander Resort and Hotel Collection… That should be all I have to say. If you have ever had a chance to sleep on this mattress, you know what I mean. This mattress can be found at some of the finest hotels and resorts around the world, and now it can also be found at my house. That’s right at my house. After experiencing what sleep can be like on one of these bad boys, I had to purchase one. I couldn’t be happier.

May 26, 2021 at 11:37 amI have an older model latex mattress by Englander and it has held up surprisingly well for the last 10 years. I’m looking into getting a newer one and maybe try a hybrid this time. I done some research and found a model I almost ready to decide on called basin park plush. It feels similar in support to my latex mattress but with wrapped springs. Any thoughts on this model?

May 19, 2021 at 10:00 amJust slept like a baby on our new Englander Atlantis Aloe mattress. We have had Tempur-pedic mattresses in the past and thought we’d try something new. Glad we did. The Tempur-pedic was fine but the Atlantis mattress is considerable more cozy. Feels like sleeping on a cloud.

I wanted to get another Latex Hybrid so I went with the Carlton Cashmere model. It really is supportive and comfortable.

We bought a hybrid Carlton Cashmere from their Resort Collection to replace our 10 year old Stearns & Foster. We were impressed by the 20 year warranty and the quality was obviously next level. We have been waking up feeling great. I’m not sure I have ever slept this well before.

I have back issues and really need something with good support but not too firm. Which modle would be the best for this situation? I weigh about 225lbs 6ft.

We tried the Beautyrest and it was very comfortable but we kept going back to an Englander Resort Collection mattress. It was the Carlton Cashmere and had a unique comfort unlike any other bed we tested. After thinking it over we decided to buy the Englander mattress. The comfort has been outstanding. This mattress is considerably better than any other mattress we have had.

December 15, 2018 at 8:05 pmWe have slept on many different brands of mattresses and have had some real good ones. The best by far has been the Englander mattress that we bought many years ago. We just bought another one from a local mattress company over the weekend. I was surprised when I saw the name Englander on the mattress because I haven’t seen any other store carry them in years. The sales guy explained that they are more of a specialty brand and then he showed me some of the better quality ones in the Resort Collection line. We bought the Gel Hybrid with wrapped springs and latex. We are excited to start sleeping on it.

The reason we chose another Englander Resort Collection bed is because that is what our last mattress was and it lasted 16years and is still comfortable. We are just changing from a queen up to a king size now. We were very happy with the last one and expect no less form the new. We still can’t believe that our old one has lasted this long

September 8, 2018 at 6:10 pmI have slept on several luxury mattress brands. I am a fan of the European makers Hypnos and Hastens. The only American product I have ever found that is comparable would have to be the Resort Collection by Englander. They use a lot of the same materials that you would find in a good European product. I currently have the Tribeca Firm mattress with micro coils pillow top. Great firmness and support for a bad back.

August 24, 2018 at 6:03 pmThere are some new models coming to the Englander Resort and Hotel line and it is really exciting. The new look is beautiful. The fabric is reminiscent of the luxury lines coming out of Europe. They are continuing to use their famous lumbar support zone and the same wrapped coil that makes Englanders so durably and contouring. They are also going to continue to use the Gel Memory Foams and Natural Latex the everybody loves. Something new that has everybody excited is the new air support foam. It performs like memory foam but it is uses air as its support instead of visco. They new line should be available for purchase soon. In the mean time all of the classic models like the Biltmore, Carlton Cashmere, Atlantis Aloe, Basin Park, Grand Chateau and TriBeCa are still available.

December 22, 2017 at 5:25 pmI was doing a bit of research on coils because of the recent influx of bed in a box foam mattresses being sold on the internet. I have always been a fan of springs. Englander Resort Collection has been at the forefront on innovation and quality when it comes to coils and spring units. There are two specific features that set the Englander mattresses apart from every other coil product available. The most notable difference in Englander coils vs. other brands is the usage of a 20 row support zone center. This feature alone has several applications. The center zone is a champion in the industry for durability. The heaviest part of part of our bodies rest right in the center portion of the mattress. This leads to sagging over time. The beefy coils center support by Englander counteracts the weight difference and provides a much longer life of product. This center support zone also works to aid in additional back support. For the sleeper that has a little low back trouble this may help offer the support you need.

The Certi Pur US certification ensures that harmful off gassing chemicals are free from your sleep surface. They use a Soy Bio foam that reduces petroleum use as well. If you find a Resort or Hotel model that has latex you will be glad to know that Englander uses Mountain Top Latex which uses the OEKO TEX standard 100 Certification. This is one of the most well respected of the Certifications you can have regarding Textiles. Here is a list of models that we have verified to have at least one of the 2 certifications mentioned. Biltmore Bamboo, Atlantis Aloe Pillowtop, Grand Chateau Silk, Basin Park Plush, Tribeca Firm, Roosevelt, Carlton Cashmere, and Fairmont Pillowtop.

Most people think that luxury Resort mattresses are all extremely soft. The Lexington is a Plush / Firm style mattress. A little soft on top with a nice firm commercial grade coil that brings a ton of firmness from the core layer of the mattress. It is also a good choice for those couples where one person likes a firm and the other likes a plush. So for all you Goldilocks types who are having a hard time finding the right Resort style mattress give the Lexington a try. You will not be disappointed.

They have not change much about this mattress in over 10 years. That’s saying a lot considering most mattress manufactures change their line up every 2-3 years. This mattress has been a big seller for the company and their motto is ” if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” This cover of this mattress is one of the most interesting features. It is made with a natural bamboo fiber. This actually adds some plush comfort to the package and helps to keep you cool. The feel of this bed is still in that plush luxury category. The support is provided by the Resort commercial coil and the comfort is in the hearty layering of premium Gel, Memory Foam and soy based product.

It fills that gap between the Biltmore Bamboo model nd the Atlantis Aloe. ( We will discuss the Biltmore at a later time). They took several of the notable Resort features like Organic fiber materials and of course all of the Certi Pur US certifications and made it a little more affordable. Don’t get too excited. It is still in the Luxury premium price point. This mattress would remind you of the feel of the Atlantis mattress with just a touch of firmness. This is great news for those looking for a plush mattress with that added layer of firm support. The comfort is pretty neutral which is probably what gives this bed such wide audience. It really isn’t firm or soft. This Englander mattress has an interesting way living somewhere between the two worlds of extra firm and super plush. This mattress does include the standard Organic Cotton and New Zealand Wool package in the quilting. It also utilizes the soy based multi layered foam package to provide excellent support and pressure relief all at the same time. If you are accustomed to frequenting the nicer Resort and Hotel chains you will find yourself right at home on this luxury bed. Hope you enjoyed this assessment of the Englander Resort mattresses. The firmness of this mattress is top notch. With a Coil on Coil design and Premium Soy based foam padding, you don’t have to wonder where the support is. It makes itself known real quick. If you are into a “Sleep on The Mattress” Vs ” Sleep in The Mattress” scenario, this is it. They use their famous wrapped coil with zoned support. As if they would leave that little gem out of the flagship firm model. Englander really figured it out on this one. Top notch quality. Firmness for days. The use a variety of high quality materials in this mattress including Latex, Gel, Soy Based padding and even Cashmere wool and Organic Cotton. Most people rate this mattress on a firm to soft scale, 1 being firm and 10 being really soft, somewhere around an 8 to 8 1/2. The Wrapped Coil design with a center support zone offers considerable support to off set the softness. This construction will provide a unique feel to be enjoyed by many with differing comfort ranges. For example: a couple with different comfort preferences and body size have found that this mattress offers enough cushion for lighter weight sleepers while providing optimal support for a heavier set person. We searched for weeks for a bedding company that uses organic and natural material. The Englander came the most highly recommended by my chiropractor. After going to a local mattress store to check them out we fell in love with the Atlantis Aloe model. It has New Zealand wool, Organic Cotton, Tencel fiber, Aloe and Soy based padding. Its nice to be able to invest in a quality piece of furniture that is non toxic. You spend so much of your time on a mattress that we figured it would be wise to get the most healthy option.

I went to a local mattress gallery to check out some new foam ad spring hybrid mattreses. I found an awesome bed called the Englander resort collection grand chateau. Amazing feel. The price was up there but I figured I should invest in a good quality one. I’m gald I did. Its crazt comfortable.

I should have bought it years ago when my back started hurting. Well you live and you learned. I learned that if you buy a high quality mattress from a real gallery and not some cheap furniture store, you can get factory direct prices and great comfort . I stayed at a Hilton Hotel that had an Englander Resort Collection mattress and slept like a baby. I had to have one and was not sure were to even check but fortunately I found a company in Nashville Tn. that had the same model I was on in the hotel. I had it shipped and have been sleeping great for the past 3 weeks. Awesome Mattress and a great brand to check out.

The mattress I grew up on was so comfortable and I had never been able to find a mattress that was nearly as nice until I heard about Englander and their Resort Collection designed for resorts and Hotels. The use organic cotton and Wool in the quilt on every mattress and when I tried it in the store it I was transported back in time to my mattress I had as a child. I have enjoyed this mattress for the past several months and I am about to buy another for my brother. I recommend this brand over all.

June 17, 2017 at 4:29 pmI bought a hand made luxury Englander mattress in coolsprings near brentwood Tn. I was supprised to find a dealer because they are rare from what my research has shown. I paid a lot of money but so so worth it. I stay in Hotels and the occasional resort for business half of the year and I always notice the different mattresses. Some hotels are good and some bad. I have always slept best on the Resort Collection by Englander.

I am in the market for a mattress for my parents and to my surprise Englander still makes that it in the Resort and Hotel collection. There is a great dealer of theses mattresses a couple hours away. I am going to make the drive because it is literally that comfortable.

I bought one with a 20 year warranty which is great. It is called the Atlantis Aloe Pillowtop. You will be amazed by the comfort.

But I have read great things about the Englander brand and I am excited to enjoy it for many years with a full 20 year warranty .

April 7, 2017 at 1:38 pmIf you have not had the chance to try an Englander Resort Collection mattress you can go to almost any high end Hotel or Resort and sleep on one. That’s what we did. We stayed at a Hilton Hotel that had the most comfortable Englander mattress. After returning home from vacation we found a local dealer that was able to find the exact one we had slept on at the Hilton. It is amazing.

I have been needing a new one for a while and my doctor told me about this brand because of a unique support lumbar system.
